Paint the Town with YDA! This 8 week program will bring students together to create paintings of landmarks in the town of Huntington. These paintings will be donated to Huntington Town Hall and displayed for all to see and cherish for years to come. At the conclusion of the program, participants will meet with Town of Huntington Supervisor Chad Lupinacci to take group photos and receive certificates. The program runs every Thursday beginning April 19th and costs $25. Space is limited.

A recreational program designed for youth to "drop-in" at YDA and spend time with their friends in a safe place on Friday nights. Youth watch movies, play video games, listen to music and just hang out. This activity meets at Greenlawn YDA, 71 Broadway. Open to all high school aged youth in the Elwood and Harborfields School Districts.

Got game? Think your're the next LeBron James? Learn good sportsmanship, team building and bring your skills to our intramural pick up games. Games are fun, competitive and great for fine tuning your game. This activity meets at Elwood Middle School in the gym. This activity is open to all Harborfields, Northport/East Northport and John Glenn High School students. This program will begin on Tuesday September 26 , 2017.

Middle School

YDA After School is a two hour program where students do homework for the first hour of the program and during the second hour enjoy recreation and other activities designed to improve their social skills. Youth must have a permission slip to attend. This program is limited to 15 students. This activity meets at Boyd Intermediate School and begins on October 10th, 2017. Please note: this program does NOT meet on 10/31, 11/7, 12/5, 3/15 and 5/8!

Need a ride to YDA Drop-In? Hop aboard the YDA shuttle-it runs every Friday from EMS! The shuttle leaves promptly at 3:30 pm. YDA is not responsible for you if you miss the shuttle! Seats are limited and are based on a first come/first served basis. A permission slip must be filled out and returned to YDA before you can reserve a seat. Reservations will be accepted from 10 am on Monday until 5 pm on Thursday for that week's shuttle. You must speak to a staff member to secure a reservation. Reservations left on the voicemail will not be accepted. Youth must be picked up at YDA (71 Broadway, Greenlawn) at or before 6 pm. The shuttle will not run if school is closed. The last Shuttle for the 2017-2018 school year will be Friday, June 8th!

Looking for something different to do on Friday afternoons? Come over and have some fun! Watch a movie, play Xbox One, foosball or air hockey. Listen to your favorite record and have a snack. Drop-In is a great way to meet new friends from EMS or OMS. This activity meets at Greenlawn YDA, 71 Broadway. Open to all middle school aged youth in the Elwood and Harborfields School Districts.

Guys and girls will have fun playing basketball while practicing good sportsmanship and team building. This activity meets at Elwood Middle School in the gym. This activity is open to all Harborfields, Northport/East Northport and Elwood Middle School Students. This program will begin on Tuesday September 26, 2017.

This six week program will teach you how to prepare both sweet and savory breakfasts, dinners, and desserts all in a microwave safe mug within minutes! Make cool crafts and fun treats after school with YDA! Projects to include Halloween slime, leaf painting, galaxy jars, lava lamps, snow globes and more! The cost of this program is $25. Creative Creations meets at Northport YDA (324 Main St) and runs January 18th through March 15, 2018 from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.
